How it works

Zeroclot 10 Tablet is a medicine known as an anticoagulant or blood thinner. It helps prevent and treat blood clots. It is used to reduce the risk of stroke and heart attack. It prevents and treats clot formation in the veins of your legs, lungs, brain and heart.Rivaroxaban inhibits both free Factor Xa and Factor Xa bound in the prothrombinase complex. It is a highly selective direct Factor Xa inhibitor with a rapid onset of action.

Dosage

1 Nonvalvular Atrial Fibrillation
For patients with creatinine clearance (CrCl) >50 mL/min, the recommended dose of ZEROCLOT is 20 mg taken orally once daily with the evening meal. For patients with CrCl 15 to 50 mL/min, the recommended dose is 15 mg once daily with the evening meal
2 Prophylaxis of Deep Vein Thrombosis
The recommended dose of ZEROCLOT is 10 mg taken orally once daily with or without food. The initial dose should be taken at least 6 to 10 hours after surgery once hemostasis has been established.

Side Effects

Back pain, bleeding gums, bloody stools, bowel or bladder dysfunction, burning, crawling, itching, numbness, prickling, “pins and needles”, or tingling feelings, coughing up blood, difficulty with breathing or swallowing, dizziness, headache, increased menstrual flow or vaginal bleeding.

Contraindication

ZEROCLOT is contraindicated in patients with:

active pathological bleeding
severe hypersensitivity reaction to ZEROCLOT
