How it works
Sertraline is an antidepressant of the selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) class. Sertraline is primarily prescribed for major depressive disorder in adult outpatients as well as obsessive–compulsive, panic, and social anxiety disorders in both adults and children.

Depression, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Panic Disorder
Dosage
Start PO 50 mg Once in a day , 50 mg increments at intervals of at least 1 week, upto max 200 mg/day.
Side Effects
Nausea, anorexia, dyspepsia, constipation, diarrhoea, dry mouth, flatulence, vomiting, ejaculation failure, increased sweating, somnolence, agitation, insomnia, headache, dizziness, fatigue, anxiety, nervousness, tremor, paraesthesia, decreased libido, rash, hot flushes, blurred vision.
Contraindication
Children <18 yr
