How it works

Clonazepam is a benzodiazepine drug having anxiolytic, anticonvulsant, muscle relaxant, amnestic, sedative, and hypnotic properties. Clonazepam reduces the nerve transmission in the motor cortex which suppresses the spike and wave discharge in absence seizures. Its mechanism is believed to be related to its ability to enhance the activity of GABA. Clinically, it improves focal epilepsy and generalised seizures.
Propranolol is a nonselective beta blocker; that is, it blocks the action of epinephrine and norepinephrine on both β1- and β2-adrenergic receptors. It has little intrinsic sympathomimetic activity, but has strong membrane stabilizing activity (only at high blood concentrations, e.g. overdosage). Propranolol has inhibitory effects on thenorepinephrine transporter and/or stimulates norepinephrine release (the concentration of norepinephrine is increased in the synapse).
Escitalopram  is an antidepressant of the selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) class. It is approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration(FDA) for the treatment of adults and children over 12 years of age with major depressive disorder (MDD) and generalized anxiety disorder (GAD).
