How it works
CALTAS 60K is a fat soluble vitamin, that helps the body to absorb calcium and phosphorous found in food and supplements. Vitamin D found in CALTAS 60k is made by the body when skin is exposed to sunlight. Sunscreen, protective clothing, limited exposure to sunlight, dark skin, and age may prevent getting enough vitamin D from the sun, thus leading to Vitamin D3 Deficiency. Thus, Vitamin D3 in CALTAS 60 K capsule is essential for calcium absorption in the body.

Dosage
Caltas 60K Tablet: It’s a Chewable tablet so no water is required & should be taken 1 tab. a week for min. of 8 weeks.
Caltas 60K Sachet: 1 Sachet in 1 glass of water or milk per week for mini. of 8 weeks.
Side Effects
• Chest pain, feeling short of breath;
• Growth problems (in a child taking cholecalciferol); or.
• early signs of vitamin D overdose–weakness, metallic taste in your mouth, weight loss, muscle or bone pain, constipation, nausea, and vomiting
Contraindication
Hypercalcemia, evidence of vitamin D toxicity; malabsorption syndrome; hypervitaminosis D; abnormal sensitivity to the effects of vitamin D; decreased renal function.
