How it works
IMACIN containing Indomethacin is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID). It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).

• Ankylosing Spondylitis
Dosage
As per Dr’s advise Dosage may vary according to the Indications and Pain Intensity.
Usually it is 20 mg orally 3 times a day or 40 mg orally 2 to 3 times a day
-Maximum single dose: 100 mg
-Maximum daily dose: 200 mg
Side Effects
Common side effects of Indomethacin present in IMACIN:
Nausea, Dizziness, Headache, Dyspepsia, Fatigue, Bleeding disorder
Contraindication
The following conditions are contraindicated with this drug. Check with your physician if you have any of the following:
• systemic mastocytosis
• increased risk of bleeding due to clotting disorder
• an increased risk of bleeding
• depression
• a type of movement disorder called parkinsonism
• chronic heart failure
• ulcerative colitis, an inflammatory condition of the intestines
• liver problems
• bleeding of the stomach or intestines
• kidney transplant
• seizures
• pregnancy
• increased cardiovascular event risk
• kidney disease with likely reduction in kidney function
• history of gastric bypass surgery
