How it works

ESIUM HP Kit is a combination of two antibiotics (Clarithromycin & Amoxicillin) and an antacid (Esomeprazole) that effectively treats peptic ulcer disease caused due to H. pylori bacterial infection. It fights against the bacteria to treat the infection & also relieves acidity and discomfort related to the infection.
ESIUM HP Kit comprises of three medicines to treat stomach/intestinal ulcers caused by the H. pylori bacteria.
Amoxycillin(belongs to Penicillin class) is an antibiotic which works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body.
Clarithromycin(belongs to Macrolide class) is also an antibiotic which stops bacterial growth by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by the bacteria to carry out vital functions.
Esomeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) which reduces the amount of acid in the stomach and relieves acid-related indigestion and heartburn.

Together, they eradicate infection effectively.

Dosage

1 tab each of Amoxicillin, Clarithromycin & Esomeprazole in morning & repeat the same in evening
Therapy is generally for 7-14 days

Side Effects

severe stomach pain, diarrhea that is watery or bloody;
fast or pounding heartbeats, fluttering in your chest, shortness of breath, and sudden dizziness (like you might pass out);

Contraindication

Contraindicated in patients with following conditions:
diarrhea from an infection with Clostridium difficile bacteria
low amount of magnesium in the blood
low amount of potassium in the blood
myasthenia gravis, a skeletal muscle disorder
coronary artery disease
rapid ventricular heartbeat
