How it works
Acebrophylline, a xanthine derivative, is prescribed as a bronchodilator for the treatment of bronchial asthma and COPD in adults. Acebrophylline alter mucus gel secretion phase by lowering viscosity and increasing the serous gel phase. By augmenting ciliary motility, Acebrophylline increases the mucociliary clearance.

Epigastric pain
Contraindication
Hypersensitivity to ambroxol, acebrophylline, Acetyl cysteine, Montelukast, Fexofenadine, theophylline or any other xanthine derivative
Patients suffering from acute myocardial infarction
Patients with hypotension, haemodynamic instability, and arrythmias
Patients with renal disease or liver disorder
Pregnancy and Breastfeeding
