How it works
JUST A DAY contains Aceclofenac SR 200 mg, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) and Rabeprazole 20 mg, a Proton Pump Inhibitor
Indications
GERD, IBS, Functional Dyspepsia, Diabetic Gastroparesis
Dosage
Once in a day 15- 20 minutes before meals.
Side Effects
Aceclofenac: Diarrhoea, headache, vertigo, dizzies, nervousness, tinnitus, depression, drowsiness, insomnia; fever, angioedema, bronchospasm, rashes; blood dyscrasias.
Rabeprazole: Headache, diarrhoea, rash, infection and flu-like syndrome. Dizziness, fatigue, constipation, nausea and vomiting.
Contraindication
Hypersensitivity. Moderate to severe renal or hepatic impairment; severe heart failure; pregnancy (third trimester).
Rabeprazole:
Hypersensitivity to rabeprazole, or any of components of its pharmaceutical forms.
Pregnancy: FDA Pregnancy Category B
Category B: Either animal-reproduction studies have not demonstrated a foetal risk but there are no controlled studies in pregnant women or animal-reproduction studies have shown an adverse effect (other than a decrease in fertility) that was not confirmed in controlled studies in women in the 1sttrimester (and there is no evidence of a risk in later trimesters).
Lactation: Infant risk cannot be ruled out.
