Hypertension Hypertension associated with palpitation Hypertension associated with edema
How it works
Olmesartan is an angiotensin II receptor antagonist used for the treatment of high blood pressure. Amlodipine is in a group of drugs called calcium channel blockers. Amlodipine relaxes (widens) blood vessels and improves blood flow. It is a peripheral arterial vasodilator that acts directly on vascular smooth muscle to cause a reduction in peripheral vascular resistance and reduction in blood pressure.
