How it works
Pregabalin, is an anticonvulsant drug used for neuropathic pain.It works by slowing down impulses in the brain that cause seizures. Pregabalin also affects chemicals in the brain that send pain signals across the nervous system.Pregabalin is a GABA analogue that binds to a subunit of voltage-gated calcium channels in CNS; does not affect sodium channels, opiate receptors, or cyclo-oxygenase enzyme activity; interactions with descending noradrenergic and serotonergic pathways originating from the brain stem appear to reduce neuropathic pain transmission from spinal cord
Methylcobalamin is the active form of vitamin B 12 i.e. cyanocobalamin which is used to prevent or treat disorders arising from the deficiency of vitamin B12, such as Neuropathy. As compared with cyanocobalamin, methylcobalamin has faster onset of action in repair / regeneration of damaged neurons, particularly the myelin sheath.
Nortriptyline is a tricyclic antidepressant. It affects chemicals in the brain that may be unbalanced in people with depression. Nortriptyline inhibits the reuptake of serotonin and norepinephrine by the presynaptic neuronal membrane, thereby increasing the concentration of these neurotransmitters in the synapse.
Aceclofenac is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug analog of diclofenac. Aceclofenac is a non-steroidal agent with marked anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties. The mode of action of aceclofenac is largely based on the inhibition to prostaglandin synthesis. Aceclofenac is a potent inhibitor of the enzyme cyclo-oxygenase, which is involved in the production of prostaglandins.
