Improvement of myotonic conditions caused by the following diseases:
• Neck-shoulder-arm syndrome and low back pain
• Spastic paralysis
• Cerebral Palsy
• Spinal Vascular diseases
• Periarthritis of shoulder & lumbago
How it works
Eperisone is a centrally acting muscle relaxant. It reduces skeletal muscular spasticity via its actions within the CNS and relaxes vascular smooth muscle directly. It primarily acts at the spinal cord level and gamma motor neurons therefore it suppresses spinal reflexes and reduces the sensitivity of muscle spindles. Eperisone also enhances blood circulation due to calcium-antagonistic actions on vascular smooth muscles.
Diclofenac is a Peripherally Acting NSAID. It acts by Blocking COX thus suppresses the production of Pain Mediators PGE 2. As with all NSAIDs, diclofenac exerts its action via inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis by inhibiting cyclooxygenase-1 (COX-1) and cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) with relative equipotency.
